Come on down and show us what y-o-u g-o-t! We have a lot of fun at this open mike every week. Lots of great local, and not so local talent come by. Variable crowds, but this is warm, cozy environment to listen and to be listened to! Isn't that what open mikes are all about. Oh, and the coffee and sweet treats in this coffee café are excellent, too!

Please note, due to Laniappe in downtown Rochester, the open mike at Dessert Oasis will not be held on the evening of November 28th. It will resume on Monday, December 5th at the usual time of 7:30 PM and run until 10:00 PM. If you are interested,please note that Dessert Oasis uploads all performances to LiveDetroit.tv. The open mike performances are streamed and recorded and available for viewing for about 5 days after the performance.

As Jim notes below, the open mike at Dessert Oasis in Rochester, Michigan is alive and well. Come on down and join the fun!! The open mike remains 7:30 to 10:00 PM every Monday, with the occasional switch to a Tuesday if there is a Monday Holiday (like Labor Day, for instance).

There is live music several nights per week here, but the nights hosted by Ivan are the primary open mic nights at Oasis, which is a very fine place to visit, with absolutely superb coffee, desserts, and people.

We had a great night last night with several newbies to Dessert Oasis performing with great talent.

Come on down and have a good time. Great coffee, outstanding desserts and pastries, and every Monday from 7:30 to 10 :00 PM, we have great music, too!
