This is a fantastic open mic. There are quite a few regular performers who love to meet other performers. It is a very welcoming environment to beginners and intermediate performers alike. I have no hesitation in recommending this open mic to anyone. It is a very busy open mic so be sure to get there at 6 PM or earlier to reserve a spot, however, new comers do get first pick. There is free coffee for performers. This is easily one of the best open mics I have ever played and it certainly has the most sense of community so come join us every Tuesday at 6 PM for fun, music, and great coffee.
Alex Stone (8/2011): The Depot is a student-led project and Open Mic was designed to be an open stage for musicians and performers of all ages and genres though many performances may not be appropriate for really younger audiences.
