The Daily Grind has closed and the place has reopened as Café Karma under different ownership. It is very similar to the Daily Grind and there are still open mics every Tuesday and Friday.

When I went, they only signed up five acts and they closed at 9pm (on a Friday!) Nice place with a low stage and a nice but small crowd. Go early.

Very polite, responsive and appreciative crowd anytime you are there. Situated directly south of the Erie Canal Locks.
