Brian Cheetham (8/2005): I am an avid 'open mic performer'… I have personally played at many of the locations on this site… and I can tell you that this is my favorite event to date! It's a nice big room with great lighting and super acoustics with high tech sound. But the best part is that the audience is actually there to listen to what you do! It's a real show, and you're part of it, everyone actually pays attention and respects your effort! The nicest people run it, very talented folks play in it, and really appreciative people watch it, what more do you want? There's no booze, no smoke, there is great snacks and drinks… it's the perfect open mic; it's what open mic's should be! The crowd and music is very diverse, from late teens to us old rockers (thank you Mick Jagger). See you there. And a special thanks to Tish and her crew for their excellent labor of love as hosts. I only wish it was held WEEKELY!!! And PS, they raffled off a really nice acoustic guitar at the last one and they'll probably do it again!
Steve Excell (8/2005): Once a month, the coffeehouse features a headline act, and an open mic time. The atmosphere is informal. The music rocks! Come check it out.
