Hello,
My name is Corey Jones and have decided to pursue my own dreams of becoming a comedian. I am interested in participating in your open mic night, and would like info on the type of crowd that is usually there and also do you still allow for upcoming comedians to perform? Also, how do I go about getting a slot in the future? Thank You in advance for your time.

- The "Java Expressions" has been a part of the Fayetteville Underground Arts Scene for the past twelve (12) years. Sunday Nights are poetry nights, but a few musicians come in to perform. Poets from all over the world, and representing a variety of genres have performed at the Coffee Scene. It considered one of the top literary events in North Carolina. The Monday Night sessions feature some of the most talented musicians in the community, state, the world. It's motto is, "A Place Where You Can Be Heard", makes it the perfect venue for young and inexperienced singer/songwriters to come and tune up their craft. As well as, a place for some of the "old pros" to come and just have fun. Crowds are comfortable and supportive. There are no conversations allowed above a "whisper", when an artist is performing. This rule applies for both the Sunday and Monday night events. It should also be noted that you can come to the Coffee Scene on both Sunday and Monday nights, for an entire month or two, and never experience the same thing. It is "Inspiration" at its finest.
