- This is a nice play but to me it leans more towards the older crowd with maybe some old country or folk. Good place to play for a first timer.
ben (2/2008)- Coffeehouse is friendly and warm with folks of all levels of talent accepted. Linda, who graciously runs the place is a gem and treats each guest warmly. Sam runs the open mic guitars in the round with signups at 7:00 p.m. A great little place to work on your chops.
Don Halcombe (2/2008)- The Saturday open-mic starts at 6pm from June through August 2006. Outside on the patio, weather permitting. Each performer gets a minimun of 15 minutes. After everyone performs we generally have a jam session and swap songs and styles. In July I'm planning to feature a Coffee House favorite each Saturday with a half-hour showcase. Still working on the details.
Mike Johnson (6/2006)- One of the most cozy, comfortable open mics I've ever been to. Small front toom of a tea/coffee shop, totally unplugged, no PA. Very generous, you can usually play 15-20 minutes. Very, very ecletic group the night I went… everything from blues to classical to country. All levels of talent. Highly recommended!
Jeff Epstein (3/2006)- Great place to play. People there [the owner, the lady who runs the open mike, other musicians and audience] are attentive and supportive. You are appreciated no matter what your level of performance. Did I mention, it's cozy? If you like being one with your audience, this is your place. This is as close to playing in one of the old coffee houses as I have found.
