What a special night last night! We had 15 guests… FAR OUT!

Evie, Barb, Chris, Mike, Angela, David J, Larry, Pete, Zack, Roger, Andy, Ken, Jack F, Matt and Art… what an amazing night of banjo, 6, 12 string, classic guitars, flute, poetry. Great songwriting, story telling and poetry.

And of course we can't forget all our friends that show up every week to listen and the repeat cu… stomers that are here studying, playing scrabble, having business meetings during the open mic!

None of this would be possible without the Coffee Beanery support of live music.

Hi Melissa, this is a laid back coffee house. We typically have acoustic guitar/banjo/dobro/piano players/singer songwriters. The music performed is folk/americana/bluegrass/pop. Depending on how many artists signup for the evening, 2-3 songs is the norm. If we have time near the end of the night will have a round-robin where everyone can perform one more tune. I provide the pa.

This is a family coffee house, so all I ask the performers is to to keep the lyrics clean.

Well I did it folks, 3 years at the Bean in February… cool!

Come out Thursday, March 24th with special guest host: Evie Boss from Gildas House in Royal Oak.
