This is by far THE best open mike I have ever been to in Pittsburgh, and I've been to all of them. Appreciative and supportive crowd. Great sound. Talented house engineer, that sometimes adds tasty blues harp from the sound booth. Really talented hosts and performers, who like to accompany each other. When the crowd starts singing along, you're amazed at how many great voices there are in the room. This isn't your typical open stage, it's more of a musician's club, and the best thing to do on a Monday night in Pittsburgh.

Warning for amatuers, the talent level here can be intimidating at times. A lot of the regulars have been around the block, and are incredible musicians. But they are really supportive to everyone, and that's what makes this night so cool.

It is one of the best open mics I have been to in the short time I have been frequenting them. The sign-up is 6.30 and it does fill up fast.
