Sign up 8:30 to play at 9:00. A long-standing open mic with talented, experienced performers. Many regulars, impromptu ensembles are common. About 50:50 original songs to covers. Very nice big stage, big room, good sound system and effective host (Randy). Your audience is almost 100% open mic participants (my favorite audience). They all hang out 100 feet away in the smoking area on the other side of the bar, so you might feel you are playing to an almost empty room. But they are definitely listening, applaud good stuff and make you feel very welcome. Well worth your time, highly recommended.
