I've gone once to this open mic and the stage is nice, PA is good, and there was a decent crowd. Overall, I'll definitely be going back. You're mostly playing to the other musicians, but performing for anybody is better than being a star in your living room!

This is an open pro jam. Full bands welcome and can be scheduled in advance if you need a place to showcase. Cheers also has an Acoustic Open Mic Night on Mondays 10pm-3am. There are food & drink specials each night, check the Cheers' website for more details: myspace.com/CheersFtLaud

The band sounded okay and they had some good sounding bands play. This seemed to be more of a good hard rock jam. Blues doesn't go down well here. I think the (including blues) message implies that.

1 guitar amp, 1 bass amp, drums, and keyboards, along with PA supplied. If your a 2 guitar band you need to bring spare amp.

we play a variety of styles (including blues)

Bands wishing to audition for weekend gigs, needs to call ahead and schedule so I can have the owner or Director of Entertainment on hand.
