Good ! ~ Although it is too bad about all the chatter ~ try to keep the monitors hotter ~ so that the performers may hear themselves better ~ you are all friendly there ~ this matters the most to me ~ one departs feeling refreshed.
Scott Horwath (11/2006): great place to fine tune your show… I've been out of the game for almost 9 years, and they made me feel pretty comfortable… very laid back atmosphere. Good cheap house brew, too…
j eastman (2/2005): Pub with an interesting menu. Very crowded, which means lots of potential listeners but also lots of noise.
Erik Ostrom (8/2004): This is a good open mic spot. The bar is always super packed. Most fun crowd I've seen for a bar (mostly young professional/student frat types, but very friendly). The noise is high, the PA volume is relatively low - Keep your songs simple to punch through. Lots of decent guitarists playing VH1 carooner-type stuff. Music starts around 9:30ish, fluctuates around 6 acts per night. Andrew, the mixer/host is a great guy: He has 3 mics and a guitar jack available for you. Loosely enforced 4 song limit (5 on a slow night)
Conrad (8/2004): Great place to play and hang out! Friendly staff and people. I highly recomend this little pub to all who play!
