Just so there is no misunderstanding. This is an acoustic open mic. Always has been & striving to keep it that way. Jerry Phillips the host will, at times, accommodate an electric guitar, but always via the house sound system.

Not acoustic anymore, you'll want a pickup unless you're accustomed to playing into an instrument mic. Super supportive and fun crowd. Jerry, who's behind the whole thing and runs the sound most weeks, is a swell guy. The open mic runs in a separate room from the bar, so you don't get a lot of people who aren't there specifically to hear the musicians.

Great venue. Friendly crowd and pickers. Huge stage, lighting & sound system are fantastic. Jam session at the beginning gives you a chance to meet and play with everyone.
