So if it's only original songs, why does it say poetry? misleading!

I think the point is that the "material" has to be original. It is mostly acoustic singer/songwriters, but I'm sure the friendly audience would not object to poetry as long as it is your own work and clean enough for the young folks.

? This is an Open Mike night at the Caribou Coffee chain store? If so, GREAT idea! Can other Caribou Coffee shops do this type of event? Thank you for any and all responses!

15 minutes or 3 songs per performance, whichever comes first.

It's free, and tips are appreciated.
