Worst "open" mic I've ever been too. First night I showed up, I didn't get to play and the host apologized and said to come back next week and I'd definitely get a chance. He seemed genuine enough, so I did. Four weeks later, I finally got to play.
He'd rather here the regulars play the same songs they played last week than go with a new guy 9 times out of 10. I'm all for showing love to the regulars because you have to be good to the people that support you every week, but there has to be a limit. Don't make someone show up guitar case in hand every week for a month before letting him play; nothing open about that.

- This is a great jam musically, but the host does not select the jammers by order on the sign up list FIFO. Typically people are chosen by there relationship with host so be prepared not to play if a bunch of pros and cronnies show!
