The night has been changed to the second Monday of each month, our first run will be October 10, 2011 starting 7PM all genre's welcome, just keep it clean, no swearing, and no disrespecting women or authoritarian people while on stage, and no yelling into the mic (this isn't singing). Bring an instrument to accompany yourself or a pre-recorded track to sing along with. We encourage you to perform original material and avoid bringing in "karaoke" sound tracks to sing along with. We don't have the specific equipment for you to see the words and performing the material of copyright music is discouraged unless you are providing your own accompaniment and rendering "your version" of the song.

So to the rockers, folkie song writers and musicians of all genre types, come down to Caffe Mela on October 10th and show us what ya got! We have a modest drum set and a baby grand piano on stage for your use or bring the instruments you need. Caffe Mela is the perfect intimate setting offering a menu and beverages for you to order while you watch your favorite local artists perform.
