Hey Everyone!

Open Jam Night is back at Cacao Lane!

Due to a great turn out and some killer jams the first time we have decided to bring it back.

Here are some things you should know about how the night will go.

- The BACKLINE will include the following: drum kit (bring your own sticks), bass amp, (2) electric guitar amps and house PA(with cables and mics).

- BRING YOUR OWN INSTRUMENTS (Guitar, bass, flugel horn, keyboard, etc… ). Other than the backline there will be NO house instruments.

- THERE IS NO SIGN UP SHEET FOR THE NIGHT. We encourage everyone to meet other musicians and jam with them, however, if you bring your band to play talk to Chris Wojtal, the host, and he will do his best to get you all up there.

- We typically use "ROTATIONS" (2 - 3 songs per group on stage during the jam), Rotations can have similar members but we would like to get everyone onstage over the course of the night so we will rotate groups in and out. When you have a Rotation, let Chris the host know and he will let you know how many Rotations are playing before yours.

hey, i wanted to know how long you get for open mic night?? I also wanted to know if bands could play? one last question would be is can you bring your own stuff? thanks!

Hey Everyone…

January 27th will be a full band open jam night at Cacao Lane. We will provide a PA and backline (house drum kit, 1 bass amp and 1 electric guitar amp). Our featured act for the night will be baltimore fusion band, break the blue line! There will be limited regular slots (maybe one or two) as we would like to keep the evening rolling with good collaborative jams. So bring you axe of choice, bring your keys, horns, cowbells or whatever you like and we will be rocking all night long! Drop an email if you are interested and/or have questions!

Chris, meant to ask last night, but how do I go about getting feature spot on open mike night? Was trying to get advance date so I could let slacker friends know to show up. Thanks!!

CORRECTION!!!!!!!! There WILL BE open mike at Cacao Lane on December 23rd. Guest host for the night will be VINNIE VALERIO. So come out and Spread some Christmas Cheer on the eve of Christmas eve! Hope to see you all there!
