Daphne (5/2009): The First Saturdays have had a strong showing since they began in November of 2007. A small 2-input PA supplies the perfect amount of amplification for a guitar line in and the SM58 Mic on our boom stand but the space is small enough and the audience quiet enough that some people don't use amplification at all. This is generally a family-friendly singer/songwriter Open Mic but it's often opened by myself supporting local jazz saxophone player Nick Anaya. All kinds of music welcome. Fantastic food and beverages at the Brothers K, too!
