This alternates with the Broad Street Open Mic hosted by Jason Hitchcock… so, Sep 24, Oct 22, etc. are NC Songwriters Co-op, hosted by Doctor Oakroot; and Sep 10, Oct 8, etc. are Broad Street Open Mic hosted by Jason Hitchcock. Confused yet? Don't be. The two open mics have very similar format and mostly the same regulars attend both. Good supportive atmosphere.
Doctor Oakroot (8/2008): All ages venue. Material should be PGish, but within that restriction, anything goes. This is an NC Songwriters Co-op event, so original material is preferred.
