We were there last night and were very impressed by Chris' patience and low-key encouragement of the people performing. Chris is not only an extremely talented person but he also helps up-and-comers. I wish I had known someone like that when I was younger and trying my hand at music.

Is there any kind of age limit for the performers? If so is it 18 or 21?

Should performers bring microphones/stands? If so, is there 48V phantom power? Also, does it matter if songs played are originals or covers? :)

There are 2 mics and stands provided if you need more than that you should bring them. There is phantom power available on the Mackie powered mixer. Original songs are encouraged, but anything is welcome. The attendance has been picking up a lot lately and we have been making an effort to get it started earlier.

No space for drums, i think. Managed to get there on a very, very slow night (though this was blamed on spring break - people point to this as a real Abq hotspot). The host is an amazing player, well worth watching, but be aware that you won't be playing till 9.30 or even 10 after he plays a long set. Any guitarist who watches will learn something though… 3 song sets, as out-of-towners liked by the crowd we were allowed a fourth song but this might've also been because the list was pretty underpopulated.
