Hey- My last night running the jam was this past 7/25. It was a great ride for seven years and time for me to get involved in some other things musically and do some traveling. The jam is now hosted by long time house band members Jerry Hobson and Krister Rollins. Two very talented and friendly guys. No club owner supports live music more than Mike Bray. Mike, Sonja and their staff was great to work with. As it's always been… great eats, Rob's award winning brewery and many many fun musicians to perform with. Last week we had a nice visit from "Pepper's Jam Session" alum guitarist/singer Jerry Smith. Jerry held stage for a couple of sets and was warmly welcomed from the friendly crowd who regularly fill this popular eatery/brew pub. Only fitting that Jerry Smith was there on Father's Day… his Dad was a well known vintage country singer in Maine. And I just love the opportunity to play drums along to (dare I say… ) the Merle Haggard/Wille vibe that Jerry does so well. Who's coming to sit in this week… ? 8PM start every Sunday night. And yes Nashville singer Kimberly June lit the house up as well. Ms. June will be back Sunday July 4th with her country capital pal David on guitar.

Special visit this Sunday evening 6/20 with our dear friend, singer/songwriter from Nashville, Kimberly June. Last week we had a nice set of music with Jason Parks a composer and music producer/sax from LA,CA. Jason also splits his time in Boston, MA. Hoping he is a Celtics fan. 8PM start. All welcomed to this popular hot spot in Maine's Lakes Region. Don't forget, Bray's is the home to the Father's Day weekend 5th annual Maine Blues Fest. Get your tickets today.
