- Open Jam with Hipbone Sam provides a laid-back and welcome environment to any and all musicians who wish to come out and play with one another, simply because they want to. Held every Wednesday night at the recently reopened Boone's Saloon directly across from the Illinois Capitol Complex, it runs from 7:30 to at least 10:30. In the words of your host Hipbone Sam, "LEMME HEAR YA SAY 'YEAH!'"
