A very high standard of talent is set here at the Blue Horn. I'm invariably impressed by the people I meet there - both because they're fantastic musicians and because the whole place is so friendly to new-comers and beginners. It's a rarity to have both sides of the coin. Jason Adamo is an amazing performer as well - emotive and powerful. Unfortunately, you sort of have to mind the board yourself (not so much because of neglect as becaue of the layut of the room) and everything has a tendency to get a bit crunchy, but the owner, Marshall, is one of the most supportive I've ever met and will offer to book you if he likes what he hears. Definitely one of my favourite places to play. Unfortunately, it's TINY. It's set up for 2 vox plus instrumentation, but can accommodate more - 20 minute slots.
