nice people, decent sound but maybe ceilings are too high? talented players, pretty good consistent friendly crowd, quite a long list of players, no stiff drinks

I finally had the chance to stop in and join the fun on open mic night. About 12 acts played. All were good players. Some very good.The room acoustics and sound system aren't that great,but did get the job done. This is a bar/brewery, so there's quite a bit of back-ground noise. The host,Brady, is a talented guitarist. He was organized and kept the show moving along so that lots of people could play. Good job everybody!

The Black Lotus was a cool place for an open mic. Everyone was very nice. It started a bit later than anticipated, but still worth the trip to check out. If you're there at 9:30-9:45 ish that is a good time to catch everyone play.
