i know someone previously asked this, but is there still no aux out available on stage? would this mean i have to place the tracks on a CD to be played there?

There is a direct box on stage for you plug in your phone, ipod, ipad etc. and run your tracks through. We can also play a cd from the sound booth.

How many microphones will be provided ?

Is there a CD player provided ?

Is there an auxiliary output ?

When does the even start ?

When does the event end ?

What time do we have to sign up ?

What type of genre is accepted ?

How much time do we have on stage ?

Will there also be comedy, poetry and spoken word ?

On Average, what age group can I expect so this will help me prepare the right music ?

Will there be a piano or keyboard provided ?

Will there be free parking or do we have to park on the street ?

There are three mics. Two at center stage, and one at the baby grand piano stage right.

There is a CD player at the sound booth for backing tracks.

The music from the CD is pumped through the house mains and stage monitors. There is no aux out available on stage.

The event starts at 1:30pm and goes to 6pm.

Sign up is at 1pm.

Any genre is accepted.

Musicians get two songs. Comedians, poets, spoken word, actors, storytellers etc. get eight minutes.

Yes, all kinds of artists and performers are welcome.

The average age is between 18 and 30, but there is a fair share of younger and older folk.

There is a baby grand piano and an acoustic/electric guitar available for use.

Street parking.

Please note: This is an acoustic open mic, so we discourage full bands, electric keys etc, in order to ensure minimal turn around time so we can feature as many performers as possible.

Thank you for your inquiry, hope to see you there!
