This is the best open mike I've ever attended. The room is the right size, the crowd is smart, supportive, and attentive, the host band is really nice and cares about having a smoothly-run evening. Sign-up is competitive and the good time slots fill up immediately, so get there early (915 is fine) and keep an eagle eye out for the sign-up list.
Z. Sherwin (6/2008): Very supportive audience. Attentive. Very nice mic system--generally the settings a right. This open mic is scheduled to start at 9:30, and a sign-up sheet should be available at about 9:15, but the band (which runs he open mic) is sometimes tardy and takes a long time setting up.
