First of all Jody is no lady. What he is, is a really nice guy and great host/sound man . Some of the most professional equipment and one of the best run open mics I have ever seen. At the same time, very laid-back and comfortable. Friendly people and a great venue to play at.
reply to this comment Don Graham (11/2012): Yes I finally made it to this venue!It's not just my first time playing at Bar Double S,but also my first time in LaPorte.Open Mic is every Wednesday night on the patio in the summertime and yes you can smoke outside.Come Fall Open Mic will be inside and there is no smoking in the bar.
