Scott is super friendly and a great performer. The other performers are really welcoming and actually LISTEN to you, unlike some open mics. I'd recommend getting there early, since a lot of the performers get there ages before it starts. Oh, and if you get there early, I'd get the pesto pizza. Tasty.

Went to this open mike recently. Notice said signup began at 7:30 and performers start at 9:00. I made it in the door by 7:50 and already there were 18 ppl on the list. Had I stayed I would have gone on around 1:00AM -too late for a working person. Plus, the notice doesn't say how many songs and/or time each person gets. Maybe it's only one or two and I would have gone on at a reasonable time, but it didn't look like it. Since I was alone, I didn't want to sit in a bar by myself for 4 hours. The area where performers would stand looked to be VERY small.

gda (11/2008) The host has made some adjustments. The sign up sheet comes out a 8:00 pm and performers can only sign up themselves, not others. The host kicks off the songs at 9:00 pm. Everyone does two songs. C (1/2009)

This Open Mic has a regular following, but is friendly to newcomers. All levels of participants are welcome. Instrument and vocal amplification provided by Scott Besaw.

There is a great $5.00 burger special every Wednesday.

Starts between 8:30 to 9:00 pm and continues until closing. Sign up starts at 7:30
