- I am surprised that your open mic requires sign up at least of day ahead of time. I regularly perform at the Wednesday open mic at the Lighthouse Coffee Company in Milan and have performed at the Coffee Bean in Plymouth on Thursdays, and sign up is done the day of. Even the open mic at the Ark in Ann Arbor, a well-known historic music venue, does not insist on pre-sign up. Do you think this policy will change? It doesn't seem to allow musicians to come and play if their personal schedules open up to allow them to come to there.

- Hi John, There isn't a house band. We have open-mic on Fridays. Everyone plays 2-3 tunes in turn. Usually a good mix, all depends. Saturdays we like to schedule an feature artist or small group. The café is pretty large, a good room for sound and located in the heart of downtown. Check us out !
