A camping event at the beautiful Folklife Center in the Appalachian mountains, the event offers a great stage with full sound & lighting in a unique environment with an audience of music lovers. The producers of this event also produce festivals, so it's a great opportunity to be heard for potential bookings. Cost is 5$ (includes camping). Lori McKinney (5/2007): Camping is amazing at this beautiful center in the mountains of West Virginia! These open mics are camping events, like mini festivals. The first one on April 22 was a smashing success and these evenings are sure to grow! Arrive at 5pm to set up your camp. Music will go all night.
