I have played here 4 weeks in a row. I like the first come first play policy that is sorely lacking at many other open mikes. Its best to arrive by 830 or 845 for a prime choice of slots. Usually get four or five songs. Attendance varies greatly week to week. Lance the bartender stands out as friendly and attentive.

I played here 3 weeks in a row early sept, 2014. Big turnout one week, good turnout the other two. Ernie goes out of his way to do a fair job of signing people up in the order they arrived. That's greatly appreciated by serious open mikers who have seen the opposite of that in plenty of places. Good core group of regulars like Larry and Sam. Arrive a bit early and sign up any place on the list you want. I like that the place does not compete with 4 different sports events on TV. Ernie also adjusts the levels during your performance making it better quality than many. Thanks Ernie.

? Are amps, mics and speakers provided for (I am a single guitar/singer act) or do you bring your own? How many songs should I plan on playing?

I have played here several times. There's a good core group of about 6 musicians that show up here every week. Ernie is a good host and one hell of a musician - himself. Two buck Killian's Red drafts make it affordable. The same crowd plays Ernie's other show at Charles Village Pub in Towson. Come on out and play, it's a pretty chill atmosphere and the bartenders are super cool.
