see my post for the Al E Oops open mic for Tuesdays… Ive played frequently on both nights. Same experience either day of the week. Saturdays tend to be more active and busier than the Tuesday nite one. Overall, Eric is a gentleman and runs a good open mic… GO play there!
Andy (1/2010): Unfortunately, they run this like a clique and they have a group of friends signed up in advance for slots (some of whom don't even bother to show up) so if you go there, the list is alreaedy pretty full even if you're the first to arrive - then you wait to see if there is a no-show so you can play
Buzz (10/2009): I've played here many times, and its a great venue. Eric is a wonderful host, and people actually listen (somewhat less if the Sabres are having a good game). All kinds of acts well received. Go there.
Curtis Hoerbelt (1/2009): This is a great open mic. The players that show up here are of a higher caliber than most open mics. Been there, be back soon…
