Jasmine (3/2010): Eric is a great host, apparently the last poster may have had a bad experience. This is a good open mic to go to, everytime I play there Im well received. From novices to pro's, all levels show up and play, and EVERYONE does get a chance to play. The sound system is pretty decent and the crowd is friendly. I will continue to play at Erics open mic, that is, when Im not hosting my own! Go to Al E Oops, its a good experience.
Andy (1/2010): If you're a friend of the bartender they put you on the list in advance. If you're not, then the list is already full when you arrive, even if you're the first one there. Since the people who are signed up often don't bother to show up, you have to wait and see if there is a no-show in order to get a spot to play
