Acoustic songwriter showcase. There's a featured artist every week. Songwriters sign up by putting their name in a hat; names are drawn throughout the evening. Normally everyone gets to play, though often it is one song each as there are usually a lot of folks to play.

A great place to meet Portland area musicians and singer-songwriters; usually full of talented folks. A lot of the performers play out regularly, but first-timers are welcome too. The emphasis is on original material.

After the show, at 10:30 or 11, we turn off the PA and have an acoustic jam / song circle; all welcome.

It's a great night for those who are into music community and hearing what other songwriters are up to; a good place to meet other Portland-area performers. It's not a good choice if you're mainly looking to play as much as possible, as you may only get to play one song until the after-show jam.
