Hello everyone,
My name is Brad Myrick, and I'm currently in charge of the open mic at Alan's. To answer a few questions: there is an in-house PA system, and I bring one vocal microphone and a few guitar cables every week. Anyone who wants to be involved just has to come down and speak with me. Though we've got a pretty steady group of performers I've never turned anyone away, and I'll always try to give a longer set when possible. People have played from 3 tunes all the way up to an hour long set depending on the turnout of the evening. Thanks and hope to see more new faces.
