Wow, if you are not fairly tough and ready for a super dive, do not go here. The beer is oddly expensive, there are only about 5-7 performers and the place is ROUGH. The guy who runs it is nice and it is fine if you need to play with no pressure etc. But the crowd is old and loud and will scream over you playing if they feel like it. Go with friends.

This isn't always the case. I actually find the regulars to be receptive to the open mike, but sometimes enjoy the evening to themselves. Definitely bring friends - this is a fun and growing open mike and many people come by just for an evening out. We're bringing in 12-15 performers a week now and just upgraded the sound system.

Just a reminder that this week, Thursday, October 6, we will return to our normally scheduled time. 8:30pm sign up/9pm start.

The open mic will run from 7:30 to 9pm this week only. Some friends were booked before we moved the day, so their show will be afterwards. Next week it will resume the normal time.
