Keep in mind this coffee house is a Jesus kind of Coffeehouse. There is a bible on every table and one has to watch what you say. Another words pretty uptight place to play. I have given it my best shot but not a place to stop by on your way through.
Bill Hudson (9/2009) so you would say this isnt a good place for a comic, even a Christian one? Aadam (2/2010): I am a new stand up comic and I would like to show up at you open mike are there any limitations I need to know about?
Victor Pickard (10/2008): Third Street Coffeehouse is located in Trinity United Methodist Church at the corner of 3rd St. & Mountain Ave. in Old Southwest Roanoke. We are open 7:00-10:00 every Friday night, offering live music and socializing in a smoke-free alcohol-free environment. Open Mike is 7:00-8:00 pm; sign up at the door. Main act 8:00-10:00 pm. No cover charge; we pass the hat for musicians. Supervised children are welcome. Drinks, snacks and desserts are sold.
