Great! My first time here, and my first poetry reading. Really a great time. It is a laid-back group, pretty diverse but angling towards 50-something hippy folksters, not much pretention. Very warm and classy feel.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Gale House open mic. It's mostly poets and story tellers. Infact, I was the only musician the whole night.

They offer wine, snacks, coffee, etc, and have a feature performer every month that goes on at the end of the night.

It's a small cozy listening room and I highly recommend it! I can't wait to go back!
